Smathers Beach Key West

Smathers Beach, located along South Roosevelt Boulevard, is Key West’s largest public beach. Spend the day soaking in the rays on this 1 mile stretch of fine sand beach.  There are food and beverage vendors, volleyball courts, showers and bathrooms. You can rent beach chairs, windsurfers, jet skis, kayaks and umbrellas at several locations along the beach.

Ft. Zachary Taylor Beach Key West

Ft. Zachary Taylor State Park beach in Key West is 67 acres of pristine beach and forest. A perfect destination for a bike ride or relaxing walk. Bring your aqua shoes because the beach is rocky. The shaded picnic area has tables and grills.  There are showers, a concession stand and beach chair rentals available. This is an entrance fee.

Bahia Honda State Park Beach

Well worth the 45 minute drive from Key West, Bahia Honda State Park boasts one of the best beaches in the country. The crystal clear shallow waters take you miles away. There are fresh water showers, a concession stand and beautiful nature trails through the mangroves. A trip to the Keys MUST include a stop here! Small entrance fee.
